In this video, we go behind the canvas and witness my process in progress.

Instagram's @design

Instagram has been the primary way I've engaged with my public audience, so when Instagram @design reached out to feature my work and story I was excited to share.

WNBA NY Liberty Exhibition

For this Juneteeth celebration with the WNBA, I was invited to work on an exhibition at the Barclays Center titled "Black Joy." As part of the exhibition, we held an auction to benefit Keep a Child Alive. I'm a huge basketball fan, so hanging out with the NY Liberty was a treat. Showing off my work and benefiting a great cause was the icing on the cake.

Gotham Art News

Got to speak with Gotham Art News about my journey, influences, and process. I opened up to share my personal story of taking a ten year hiatus from art and the return to my roots. I got to nerd out about my unconventional sources of inspiration, like Carl Jung and Nicola Tesla. I gave a look into how I approach my work — thinking a lot about what I'll make before ever putting brush to canvass. Once I'm in that zone, I move fast like a panther.

Retreat at Lake Copake

I love collaborating with other artists, like my friend Nenjah Nycist, producer and musician. Music is a big part of how I create, I always have music playing to help me get into my flow. We had this idea of doing a creative retreat together. We loaded up a car and drove 3 hours outside of New York to the boondocks, which was a little unsettling at first. Once we adjusted, we started to appreciate the nature and the peace. We spent two days creating together, without a set narrative. We produced separate works that informed each other and we caught it all on camera. We were the alchemist and the magician.

"Where's The Wi-Fi?" Solo Exhibition

First time seeing my work on a billboard, it was cool. I was invited by the Habitat Contemporary Gallery in Kansas City, MO to exhibit a solo show with a collection of works from 2020-21. I called the show "Where's the Wi-Fi?," which was inspired by a trip to Kenya. This trip was equal parts me looking for myself and me looking for the Wi-Fi.
